RCMP dive team recover man’s body from Alice Lake

On August 8, 2021, at about 8:15 pm, the RCMP dive team recovered the body of the man who fell off his paddle board into Alice Lake.

The RCMP continue following up in their investigation to make sure they have complete details of event.

Alice Lake Provincial Park has since reopened.

Our hearts go out to the family and friends of this man who was doing something he was enjoying, says Corporal Angela Kermer of the Squamish RCMP.
