File # 2021-2006

On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, shortly after midnight, Fort St James RCMP were called to a local business in the 400 Block of Stuart Drive West in the community.

It was reported that a window had been smashed and some of the stores property was taken. Police reviewed the security video and could see two people gain entry into the store, take the merchandise and immediately leave.

The security video, other evidence at the scene and a call to the police shortly after the break and enter, quickly led police to the persons believed to be responsible.

An adult man and a female youth were arrested in connection with the offence and later released on conditions pending a future court date. The investigation is ongoing.

If you have any information about this, contact the Fort St James RCMP at (250) 996-8269 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800) 222-8477.
