Police investigate mischief to crosswalk

On Thursday, June 24, 2021 Vanderhoof RCMP received a report that a brand new rainbow crosswalk was damaged over night.
Upon attendance Members found that there was a large burnout across almost the entire crosswalk
on Victoria St in Vanderhoof. This senseless crime has caused concern to the community.
Police are actively investigating leads and are looking for assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible. If you know who may have committed this crime or have information about it you can call the Vanderhoof Detachment at 250-567-2222 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
