One person deceased following a two vehicle collision

On Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 7:33 PM, Golden RCMP were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash on Highway 95 approximately 60 kilometers south of Golden BC.
A northbound Saturn crossed the centerline and collided head on with a semi. The driver of the Saturn, a 21 year-old Alberta woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in the car appeared to be uninjured. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to determine what causal factors may have contributed to the crash. BC Coroners Service are conducting a parallel investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
