
RCMP seek witnesses to single vehicle collision

Salmon Arm RCMP is looking for the public’s assistance in regards to a serious motor vehicle incident involving a single motorcycle on Sunday.
On May 16, 2021 at approximately 6:45 p.m., a motorcycle was involved in a single vehicle collision at or near the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Sunnybrae Canoe Point Road. The driver was transported to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries by bystanders.
Salmon Arm RCMP would like to speak with the kind hearted person or persons involved in the transport of the motorcyclist to hospital and to the person who graciously recovered the motorcycle and transported it to local hospital as well.
Police are also seeking any other witnesses to the collision event. Anyone from the public who may have witnessed the operation of the black 2017 Apri motorcycle on Sunnybrae Canoe Point Road or the Trans-Canada Highway on May 16 around 6:45 p.m. or just prior to the motor vehicle incident are asked to call the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044.
