The fire appears to have been human caused, stated Hudson’s Hope Fire Chief, Brad Milton. This was a very careless act. Things could have turned very bad, very quickly. A fire like this could have run into the trees, putting our community, property and Human Safety at extreme risk with how dry the current conditions are.

The fire was able to be contained and extinguished by volunteers of the Hudson’s Hope Fire Department.
