File # 2021-1783 Theft from Automobile
On April 20, 2021 at approximately 10:30 AM the Whistler RCMP received a complaint that a vehicle had been broken into while parked overnight in the underground parking lot in the Creekside area. The driver side window had been smashed and personal items were taken from the vehicle. The RCMP would like to remind the public to take the time to remove personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle. These simple actions help to reduce these crimes from occurring.
File # 21-1785- Theft from Automobile
On April 20, 2021 at approximately 12:00 PM the Whistler RCMP responded to a second incident where a vehicle was parked over night at Spruce Grove and the passenger side window of the vehicle was smashed and personal belongings were taken. At this time in the investigations the Whistler RCMP have been unable to identify a suspect. The RCMP will be increasing their patrols throughout parking lots in the community. Cpl Miller would like to remind the public that if you see any suspicious behavior to call the Whistler RCMP at 604 932-3044.
File #21-1799- Residential Fire
On April 21, 2021, at approximately 21:20 PM Whistler RCMP were called to assist with a structure fire located in the 8400 block of Ashleigh McIvor Drive. RCMP members attended and conducted traffic control for the area. Police investigation determined that the fire was not suspicious. The Fire department was able to contain the fire to the single unit and no one suffered any injuries.
