File # 2021-1352
On the morning of April 26, 2021 an employee of the Castlegar Thrift Store arrived at work to discover the store had been broken into and a small amount of cash and property stolen.
Castlegar RCMP attended to the business located in the 600-block of Columbia Avenue to discover that a suspect or suspects had entered the thrift store sometime overnight, between the evening hours of April 25 and the morning hours of April 26. Police believe that entry was gained by the suspect(s) who seemingly forced their way in through a side door location, which was somewhat concealed from public view. Once inside they targeted the stores cash register.
Castlegar RCMP is continuing to investigate the break and enter and asks anyone with information to call RCMP at 250-365-7721.
