One man has been charged in connection with a homicide on Thursday, February 8, 2020.

BC Prosecution services has approved a second degree murder charge against Michael Egenolf in relation to a homicide in Smithers.

On February 8 2020, Smithers RCMP attended a rural residence where they found Brodie Cumiskey deceased.

Egenolf has been held in custody pending a court appearance Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in Smithers Provincial Court
