Ned’s wish is a charity organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of life for retired police dogs by providing financial support for their medical well-being.

The organization is named after Police Service Dog, Ned, who served for a number of years in Alberta, Vancouver Island, and Manitoba. Following his retirement, he had a number of health issues which created large expenses for his family, in excess of $10,000.

It is not uncommon for retired Police Service Dogs to incur large medical bills, which is how Ned’s Wish came about.

This year, Ned’s Wish has created a calendar as a fundraiser to support other dogs like Ned.

Calendars are available online and can be picked up at a number of locations including the Terrace and Prince Rupert RCMP Detachments.

Place your order and make payment online. When it arrives, simply pick it up at the detachment that you selected at time of purchase.
