As a result of a Prince Rupert RCMP investigation into possession of stolen property a large number of items have been seized.

A 36 year old Prince Rupert resident was arrested last weekend for possession of stolen property. "A large number of items have been seized and not yet returned to their respective owners and we are hoping to do that" said Cst. Van Wyngaardt of the Prince Rupert RCMP.

We are asking the public who reside in the 100-700 block of 4th and 5th Ave E to check their sheds, outbuildings and other areas on their property where you may store your belongings and to notify the Prince Rupert RCMP if you are missing anything.

The Prince Rupert RCMP want to also ask the public to notify the Prince Rupert RCMP if you observed any suspicious activity over the past weekend, or to contact Crime Stoppers.
