Shortly after 2:00 AM, on Thursday, August 20 2020, Burns lake RCMP responded to an alarm at a business in the 300 block of Highway 16 in Burns Lake.

When police arrived on scene they discovered a male youth trying to gain entry to the Small Town Vapes store. The suspect was arrested without incident and there was no entry made into the store.

This store was the scene of two previous break and enters in July and investigators are looking into any connection this may have to the previous offences said S/Sgt Shaunna Lewis, NCO i/c Burns Lake RCMP. See original release here
