The Logan Lake RCMP has implemented several precautions to keep the public, and our employees safe in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The detachment is still open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and we can also be reached on our non-emergency number at 250-523-6222 during these times. The detachment front counter is no longer accessible to the public. We ask anyone who attends the Logan Lake RCMP Detachment to pick up the outside phone which will put you in contact with a staff member or police officer in the detachment. If no one answers, it will go to our dispatch who can get in touch with the appropriate employee.
For the interim, we changed how we process police information checks and will be able to do this electronically. Please call the office 250-523-6222 for further details on how we can assist to continue to provide this service.
These changes do not affect our service delivery nor 9-1-1 service calls or non-emergency calls for service which is still provided to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We continue to assess our process and ensure our response and continuity plans are updated and in place. Our priority continues to be community safety and security and we are taking these measures to help ensure our core policing duties will not be impacted. We appreciate your continued support and understanding.
