Chilliwack RCMP seek information following a pedestrian hit and run that sent one woman to hospital

RCMP are seeking witnesses and dash cam footage following a pedestrian hit and run that sent a 56 year old Chilliwack woman to hospital.
Shortly before 11pm on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021, the Chilliwack RCMP were called to the 41700 block of Keith Wilson Road near Chadsey Road after a 56 year old woman was discovered laying unconscious and bleeding in the ditch. The woman was transported to hospital where she remains in critical but stable condition.
Initial police attendance and scene examination has located evidence consistent with a pedestrian hit and run. The crash remains under investigation by the Chilliwack RCMP and the Lower Mainland’s Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS).
Investigators believe the collision occurred sometime between 8pm and 11pm on Wednesday evening.
RCMP would like to appeal to the driver of the vehicle involved in this collision to come forward.
If you were the driver of the vehicle involved in this collision, we would like to speak with you, says Sgt. Krista Vrolyk, Media spokesperson for the Chilliwack RCMP.
We are also asking members of the public that if they have a friend or family member who drives a vehicle with recent unexplained damage to the front of their vehicle to contact us with any information they may have.
