File # 2021-6796

North Cowichan/Duncan frontline officers are requesting the community's assistance with locating a John Deere tractor that was stolen from Providence Farm between May 6th and May 7th, 2021.  The stolen tractor is described as a green X300 John Deere ride on lawnmower with a large section of the body missing off the right side (this panel was recovered at the scene).  There is a large orange "PF" painted on the hood of the tractor.  This mower also has a custom built galvanized steel mulching deck plug on it.

Cpl. Cari Lougheed said, "As a community, so many of us have been helped by the services Providence Farm provide.  My hope is that as a community we are able to lend them a hand back by helping to return this piece of stolen equipment."

Evidence at the scene suggests that the tractor was loaded onto a vehicle/trailer behind St. Ann's church.

If you have any information regarding the theft of this tractor or where it might presently be located, please contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP Detachment or Cowichan Crime Stoppers and quote police file number 2021-6796.  Your assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.
