On March 25th, 2021 at approximately 4pm the Dawson Creek RCMP were dispatched to Dave's No Frills grocery store located in Dawson Creek for a report of a disturbance.

During an altercation between the employee and the subjects, one of the subjects punched the employee in the face. Police were called which resulted in the arrest of one male. The involved victim received relatively minor injuries which did not require medical treatment.
