Assault behind Library

Hundred Mile House

On Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 4:04 PM, 100 Mile House RCMP and the North District Provincial Support Team attended to a report of an assault in the 400 block of Cedar Avenue in 100 Mile House. 

The initial report involved two males fighting and one had pulled a knife and was swinging it at the other male. Officers attended immediately and located the victim at the scene of the offence and the suspect was located and then arrested in the 100 block of Birch Avenue. Both were slightly injured and cleared by BC Ambulance.

Both individuals are known to Police and to each other. The knife and a prohibited device were located on the suspect after his arrest. He has been lodged in cells for RCMP to continue their investigation. There is no further risk to the public as a result of this incident.
