Troubling graffiti causes concern for area resident

On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, 100 Mile House RCMP were called to the parking lot of a local business for a suspicious occurrence.

The woman said that someone had written in the dirt on the back of her vehicle. The message left behind caused her concern so she immediately reported it to the police.

She expressed to police that she had seen on social media that messages like the one her car, have been used to aid in kidnappings. Police attended and spoke with the victim, ensuring her safety.

We have received one report of this nature. The member attended and investigated this unusual complaint. After speaking with the complainant, our officer was able to satisfy her wishes regarding the investigation said S/Sgt Svend Nielsen, NCO i/c 100 Mile House RCMP.
