File # 2021-301

On Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 5:30 AM the registered owner of a white 2014 Ram 1500 truck reported the vehicle stolen from their driveway in the 5500 block of 103 Mile Lake Road near 100 Mile House BC.

The owner reports waking up to let their dog out and finding the vehicle gone. All keys were accounted for and there were no suspects or witnesses to the offence. On the same date, 100 Mile House RCMP received a call from a property owner near Lake of the Trees in the Forest Grove area. The property owner had located the white 2014 Ram truck on their property, burnt to the ground and completely destroyed. The BC licence plates were attached. The vehicle was towed from that location.

Further investigation at this scene pointed toward a possible item purchased from the local 7-11 store along Highway 97 in 100 Mile House BC. The investigator was able to view the video at that location and determined a person of interest. The individual and vehicle shown in the attached photos may or may not have anything to do with this offence, however, given the purchase made and the timeline of the investigation, police are looking to speak with the person(s) in the vehicle (the dark coloured Dodge Journey) or the male in the blue jacket and grey ball cap.
