2020-12-14 08:23 PST
During the month of November the 100 Mile House RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a seasonal property in the Mahood Lake area. Multiple items were stolen from the residence which included a chainsaw, fish finder, and two way radio.
An image of a suspicious pickup truck was captured on security camera as to being in the area at a late hour, and with no relation to any of the properties. The pickup truck appears to be a newer Ford F350. The 100 Mile House RCMP are seeking the public's assistance with identifying the owner of this vehicle, as it is considered a vehicle of interest at this time.
The 100 Mile House RCMP continue to encourage seasonal and rural property owners to register their property with the Rural Crime Reduction Program. Packages can be picked up at the 100 Mile House RCMP Detachment. If anyone has any questions regarding the program contact Cpl. Jason Nash.
Anyone with information on this event can contact the 100 Mile House RCMP or an individual can contact BC Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS) if they wish to remain anonymous.
