Search leads to drugs, guns and cash

On Wednesday January 10, 2024, the Williams Lake RCMP Detachment, with assistance from the Cariboo Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit and BC Highway Patrol, executed a search warrant at a residence within City limits.

As a result, police seized suspected illicit drugs, approximately $16,000.00 in cash, an illegal firearm and ammunition.

This investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time. More details may be
released as they become available.
