Police investigate arson

On November 12, at approximately 1:16 a.m., the West Shore RCMP attended a report of a fire of a portable toilet at a construction site located near the 3300 block of Luxton Rd in Langford.

Police were called to the scene by Langford Fire Department who had put out the flames. The fire caused significant damage to the side of the building and police believe this was an act of arson.

Police obtained video surveillance of the site which captured the suspect leaving the scene.

Photo and description of suspect:

• Suspect has light-medium colored skin;
• Wearing dark colored clothing, blue baseball cap;
• Is last seen on camera at approximately 12:45 a.m. walking away from the construction site and down the Chidlow Connector.
