Police seek witness to assault

The West Shore RCMP is seeking a witness to an assault that occurred shortly before midnight on June 25th near the 300 Block of Wale Rd, Colwood.
An unknown individual reported to a security guard that they had witnessed the assault first-hand and provided a few key details, however did not remain at the scene and did not leave any of their information for officers to follow-up.
Police are investigating and would like to speak to this witness first-hand to find out what they saw.
