Cram the Canoe/Cruiser to support the Goldstream Food Bank

On Saturday December 10th, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. the West Shore RCMP Community and Indigenous Policing Units will be at The Real Canadian Superstore located at 835 Langford Parkway for a Food Drive in support of our local Goldstream Food Bank.

"Last year we raised enough food to fill a 35 ft canoe and several police cruisers. The food weighed over 3000 lbs and was valued at approximately $9500. With the rise of inflation, times are tough for a lot of families right now. We want to surpass last year's donations and are asking the public to come out and support a great cause, said Cst. Cole Brewer West Shore RCMP Indigenous Policing Unit.

The Goldstream Food Bank serves people in the West Shore and from the Greater Victoria area. The Goldstream Food Bank is located at 761 Station Ave in Langford, left of the Legion, down the ramp.
