Person of interest in sexual assault investigation identified - investigation ongoing

On November 21 2022, the West Shore RCMP published a media release seeking the public's assistance in identifying a Person of Interest whom investigators believed had information regarding a sexual assault investigation that began in September 2022. 

"Numerous tips were received from the public and police were able to identify the Person if Interest. We thank the public and media for their help in this and have taken down the media release published on November 21st. Our investigation into the sexual assault is ongoing," said Cpl. Nancy Saggar West Shore RCMP Media Relations Officer.
