Surrey RCMP investigate shots fired in Fleetwood Area

Surrey RCMP is currently on scene in the Fleetwood area for a report of shots being fired.
On December 29, 2023 at approximately 9:28 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the 7800-block of 167 Street.
Responding members located evidence to support a shooting having occurred in the area. No one was injured during the incident.
Officers are/will be conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages and police are working to determine the possible motive for the shooting.
