Update: Kwabena Bosiako arrested

Surrey RCMP is updating the public that wanted individual Kwabena Bosiako is in custody, after being arrested in New Westminster the morning of June 7, 2023.

Kwabena Bosiako had left his court-mandated residence in Surrey and removed his electronic monitoring device. (Media release 2023-06-06) Since then, officers with the Surrey RCMP Gang Enforcement Team have been leading the search for Mr. Bosiako, following up on a number of investigative avenues to locate him.

On June 7, 2023, at approximately 9:45 a.m., the Surrey RCMP High Risk Target Team with the assistance of the Integrated Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team arrested Kwabena Bosiako at the Columbia Square complex in New Westminster.

Kwabena Bosiako was transported to Surrey RCMP cells and will remain in custody to be brought before the courts.
