Motor vehicle collision – 9500 block 156th Street, Surrey, BC

On November 16, 2021 at approximately 5 pm, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle collision in the 9500 block of 156th Street. A pick up truck was travelling North bound on 156th Street when it struck a cyclist.

The 50 year old female cyclist was transported to local area hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pick up remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Alcohol does not appear to be a contributing factor in this collision. Traffic in the area will be disrupted for several hours as the investigation continues.
