ATM Thefts in Madeira Park

On December 22, 2022 between 5:00 am and 6:00 am, Sunshine Coast RCMP were alerted to two brazen break and enters involving attempted thefts of ATM machines in Madeira Park.

The Sunshine Coast Credit Union was broken into and an attempt made to remove the bank machine as well as a break in at the Grasshopper Pub where part of the ATM was removed.

Police are looking for what appears to be a black or dark colored, 1st generation SuperDuty Ford F250 or F350 pick up truck. Police are also looking to identify the suspect in the first photograph standing near the passenger side of the suspect vehicle wearing a distinct jacket.
