Maple Ridge B.C. Investigation continues to determine how a 65-year-old man sustained serious injuries.
On Friday, July 29, 2022 at approximately 11:30 pm, Ridge Meadows RCMP were contacted regarding a man suffering from serious injuries consistent with being assaulted. Police were able to locate the man in the 22500 block of Kendrick Loop.
The victim is described as:
- A white man
- 65 years old
- 5.9 inches tall with a thin build
- Wearing a green shirt, blue jeans with white shoes.
The man was transported to hospital by BC Ambulance Services with serious injuries.
Police have been extensively canvassing neighborhoods and reviewing video surveillance to determine what happened to this man and the events that led up to him sustaining these injuries. Ridge Meadows Serious Crimes Unit (SCU) has continuity of the investigation and are seeking public assistance for witnesses and dash camera footage.
The victim was on video surveillance in the area of 222nd Street at around 10:15 pm and in the area of the 22500 block of Kendrick Loop at approximately 11:30 pm. If you observed this man during this time period please contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP Serious Crimes Unit at 604-463-6251.
