Pitt Meadows, B.C. - Traffic Initiative resulted in Violation Tickets being issued to drivers.
 

Over three days the Pitt Meadows Uniformed Community Response Team (UCRU) and frontline police set up at Ford Road and Baynes Road watching for drivers failing to obey the rules of the road.
Police are continually hearing about problem intersections in the cities of Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge, we hear you and we are taking action.


"30 Violation tickets were issued in a little over two hours during the initiative", states Sgt. Lyndsay Irwin. "We will be continuing enforcement with zero tolerance at problematic intersections."
 

The project will be ongoing and you can expect to see different areas in Pitt Meadows will be enforced for varying infractions weekly.
