Pitt Meadows, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP are appealing to the public for any witnesses who saw or has dash-cam footage of a Silver or Grey colored Volvo which was found fully engulfed in flames on Sunday.
On Sunday, February 27th, at around 1:30 AM, policed received a report that a house in the 10900 block area of Walter Florence Road had allegedly been shot at and the suspect vehicle, a silver or grey car, had fled the area. While police were responding to the call they encountered a silver/grey Volvo sedan fully engulfed in flames on Airport Way near the Bonson Road intersection. The vehicle was significantly damaged from the fire and police are working to determine the registered owner. Investigators believe the two events are related. No injuries were reported in both incidents.
Police are looking for anyone who may have seen the silver/grey Volvo in or around the Pitt Meadows area on early Sunday morning before 1:30 AM. If you saw anything suspicious or have dash cam footage, please contact Corporal Biggs at 604-463-6251.
