Richmond RCMP investigating serious 2 vehicle MVI

Shortly after 3 p.m. on December 4, 2022, frontline Richmond RCMP responded to the area of Minoru Boulevard and Lansdowne Road after receiving reports of a collision between a Ford subcompact and a Jeep SUV.

The driver of the Ford, an 85-year old man from Richmond was uninjured. The driver of the Jeep, a 62-year old man from Richmond, sustained serious injuries and was unconsciousness prior to being transported to hospital. Each vehicle had an additional occupant and they were uninjured.

The Richmond RCMP is actively investigating this collision. Alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor.
