Langley RCMP Drug Section targets drug line.

In response to a tragic overdose death of a Langley teenager, the Langley RCMP Drug section started an investigation targeting the dial a dope drug line believed to be responsible for supplying drugs to the victim. 

On December 8, 2021, the Langley Drug Section and Langley Strike Force Unit executed a Search Warrant in the 8900 block of 202 Street in Langley, BC.  During the search, police located a loaded AR15 style assault rifle, a loaded 9mm handgun, and approximately a half a kilogram of Fentanyl, Cocaine and cash. 

Three men from the Langley area were arrested at scene, with more arrests expected. Drug and Firearms charges will be recommended to the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for their consideration. 

"The Langley RCMP remains committed to the strategic targeting and disruption of violent and organized crime who prey upon youth and those suffering from addiction. This investigation, led by the Langley Drug Section, involved multiple units within the Langley RCMP as well as other jurisdictions over the past few months and is an example of our commitment to making our streets safer" said Staff Sergeant Loi LY, Investigative Services Commander for the Langley RCMP.
