Police seek video showing shots fired

Langley RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public with their investigation into a report of shots fired in the Brookswood area in the very early morning hours of January 16th.
Police were called at 12:30 a.m. and provided information relating to two vehicles driving south on 208th Street from 56th Avenue. Occupants in one or both of the vehicles discharged their firearm(s) in the area of 208th Street and 48th Avenue. A second report, nearly 10 minutes later, indicated more shots were fired near 200th Street and 40th Avenue.
Patrols of the area were unsuccessful and the vehicles / occupants have not been identified.
The vehicles are described as a dark coloured Dodge Ram two-door (possibly with a short box) with no canopy and an older model silver SUV with possible bumper damage.
Police are seeking to speak to any witnesses to the events of that night and are asking people in the area to review security camera footage and / or dashcam video to see if they have any images that might assist with this investigation. The areas for consideration are 208th Street between 56th and 40th Avenues and secondly, 40th Avenue between 208th and 200th Streets. Both vehicles went north on 200th Street from 40th Avenue.
