Targeted Home Invasion in South Langley

Langley RCMP Serious Crime Unit has assumed conduct of an investigation into a home invasion that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 2nd.

Police were called when a male arrived at Langley Memorial Hospital suffering from stab wounds at approximately 4:20 a.m. The investigation has determined the male was injured during a home invasion at a residence in the 20000 block of 46A Avenue earlier that morning.

Three people were home when two masked assailants entered the residence and demanded money from the victim. It is unknown how they gained entry to the residence.

The victim was stabbed multiple times and is now in stable condition. The home invasion is believed to be targeted in nature.

Yesterday, investigators executed a search warrant on the residence to gather evidence to assist with identifying the suspects.
