File # 2019-CounterAttack
While I would much rather be telling you of joyful activities happening throughout the Langleys, the sad reality is - there is still a need for policing on our roadways...
- Two Criminal Code Impaired Driving (Two Administrative Driving Prohibitions)
- Two 90-Day IRPs
- One 30-Day IRP
- Three 3-Day IRPs
- One 24-hour Suspension for Alcohol
- 25 Speeding Tickets
- Two Excessive Speeding Tickets
- 15 Distracted Driving Tickets
- 14 Intersection Related Tickets
- Four regulatory charges (No License, No Insurance, etc.)
In addition, four Prohibited Drivers were apprehended.
Christmas is next week and there will be many motorists with families travelling from home to home to celebrate the season and enjoy each other's company. Langley RCMP would encourage motorists to make this the safest season yet. Follow the rules of the road for your own safety and for the safety of those around you.
Superintendent Murray Power, Officer in Charge,
On behalf of myself and all the staff of Langley Detachment, we would like to thank the vast majority of motorists for their safe driving behaviour and getting a safe ride home during this holiday Season. Wishing you all the best in the next decade.
