Kamloops police are looking to speak to the driver of a white truck with yellow cones in the back, following a collision near Valleyview last week.

On Tuesday Oct. 4, 2022, just before 4 p.m., the Kamloops RCMP Detachment responded to a four-vehicle collision on the East Trans Canada Highway at Valleyview Drive. No one was seriously injured. According to reports, a white Chevy pickup truck towing a trailer was stopped in the inside lane of the highway, but left before police arrived.

The truck had distinctive large yellow cones in its pickup box, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. Police are looking to speak with the driver to help further the investigation.

Anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident or recognize the truck and know who it belongs to, is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2022-35553.
