A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.

Shane Anthony Jeurissen, 51, originally from Kamloops, was arrested in Surrey Sunday night. A warrant was issued after he allegedly breached conditions related to a long-term supervision order.

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment would like to thank the public for its assistance.

Canadian-wide warrant issued for Shane Jeurissen

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is asking for the public’s help in locating Shane Anthony Jeurissen, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Jeurissen, 51, was released on a long-term supervision order on March 23, but allegedly breached his conditions shortly after. He has numerous convictions, many out of Kamloops, for offences including assault with a weapon, fail to comply with release orders, uttering threats, and others.

Jeurissen is described as:
• Indigenous
• 51 years old
• 5’7
• 221 pounds
• black hair
• brown eyes

He has the following tattoos:
• flames on his right and left forearms
• ‘TY’ on his left hand
• black marks on his right hand
• dragon on his left forearm
• $ symbol on his right wrist
