Police investigating a back-alley assault

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is looking for any information or witnesses after a woman was assaulted while walking her dog Monday evening.

On March 8, around 6:47 p.m., Kamloops RCMP received a report of an assault in the back-alley area on the 600-block of Victoria Street. A woman said she was walking her dog when she was pushed down by two people, causing her to hit her head. Nothing was taken but the suspects checked her pockets. The woman was uninjured. One of the suspects was a man. No other description is available.
