RCMP kick off the 17th Annual 911 We Care Toy Drive

Help Coquitlam RCMP support the 17th annual 911 We Care Toy Drive.
Coquitlam RCMP will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for toddlers to teens until December 13, 2024. All donations will go to the SHARE Family & Community Services to help bring cheer to local children and families in need.
The 911 We Care Toy Drive has been organized by the Coquitlam RCMP Operational Communications Centre (OCC). OCC staff are the men and woman on the other end of the telephone line supporting our officers and communicating with the public. The OCC team begin the initiative in 2009 as a way their team could do something positive for the community. For the past 17 years the 911 We Care Toy Drive has allowed the Coquitlam RCMP OCC to give back to the community and help make the holidays a little bit brighter,
said Jen Criss from Coquitlam RCMP Operational Communications Centre.
Our communities have always been there for one another. We see it all year round when we are out in the community,
said Media Relations Officer, Corporal Alexa Hodgins. We are hoping the public is able to add one more gift to their list this year and help support the 911 We Care Toy Drive.
How to donate
The public can bring new, unwrapped toys (suitable for all ages up to and including 18 years old) to the Coquitlam RCMP detachment and Community Policing offices until December 13, 2024.
Donation locations:
- Coquitlam RCMP Main Detachment located at 2986 Guildford Way, Coquitlam
- Ridgeway Community Police Office located at 1059 Ridgeway Avenue, Coquitlam
- Mary Hill Community Police Office located at 2581 Mary Hill Road, Port Coquitlam
