Burnaby RCMP Information Session: Victims and Survivors of Crime Week 2024

Burnaby RCMP’s Victim Services Unit would like to invite the public to an upcoming public information session happening on Wednesday, May 15 near the Metrotown food court as part of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week 2024.
The event will include police officers and staff from across the Burnaby RCMP, who will be available to discuss crime and safety in our community, including tips on personal and online fraud, as well as home safety. They will also be sharing support resources for people impacted by crime, including information on BC’s Crime Victim Assistance Program.

While subject to operational availability, units attending the event throughout the day are expected to include: Victim Services, Youth Services, Economic Crime Unit, Community Response Team, Bike Unit, Police and Mental Health and Homelessness Outreach Team, and the Domestic Violence Unit.
Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, which runs from May 12-18, aims to raise awareness about the issues facing victims of crime and highlight the services, assistance and laws in place to help victims and their families.
