Burnaby RCMP seek witnesses and video after collision leaves pedestrian with life-threatening injuries

Burnaby RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team is investigating a single vehicle collision that resulted in serious life-threating injuries to a 54-year-old male pedestrian.

On Friday, December 16, 2022 at 9:50 p.m., Burnaby RCMP frontline officers responded to a serious collision involving a single vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection of Patterson Avenue and Central Boulevard, Burnaby.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with police. Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious life-altering injuries.

Burnaby RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team has taken conduct of the investigation.
