Police investigating shooting incident on Queensway

Shortly before 6:00 a.m. on July 28, 2022, Prince George RCMP received multiple reports of shots fired on the 2200-block of Queensway. Frontline police officers quickly saturated the area but were unable to locate a suspect.

Video surveillance from the area shows a dark-coloured SUV fleeing the neighbourhood at the time of the incident. Police are asking for anyone with who saw a vehicle matching this description or with video surveillance in this area, to contact police by calling the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300. No injuries were reported in this event. The investigation is still in the early stages and remains ongoing.
