File # 2021-4980
Hard working frontline officers caught one of the suspects in a series of break and enters that occurred in downtown Prince George this past week.
Around 8:00 p.m. on February 11, 2021, a general duty officer of the Prince George RCMP was on patrol near the 800 block of Canada Games Way. He noticed a male in similar clothing to that worn by a suspect on surveillance footage from several recent break-and-enters. See more information from that release here.
The officer arrested the male and transported him back to the Prince George RCMP detachment.
Police found the personal property from a recent auto theft on the male, whom they identified as 40-year-old Allan Nigh.
The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved one count of Break and Enter with intent to commit an indictable offence against Mr. Nigh, and are considering further charges.
At the time of this writing, it is unknown whether Mr. Nigh will be released or held in-custody.
