Break and Enter suspects caught red-handed

On Monday, January 18, 2021 at approximately 3:30 a.m., the Prince George RCMP received report of a Break and Enter in progress at City Furniture, located at 1303 3rd Avenue.

Mounties were at the location within three minutes of receiving the dispatch call. This quick action allowed members to catch three people at the corner of Quebec Street and 6th Avenue carrying a 58 Samsung TV, still in its original packaging, says Cst. Jennifer Cooper, media spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP.

The television is valued at $1300.

Police identified 30-year-old Samantha Nicole Peterson, 49-year-old Robin Colin Fleury and 27-year-old Bruce Cassidy Nelson as the people who broke into the City Furniture location. The British Columbia Prosecution Service has approved charges of Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Offence against all three people involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
