Homicide Investigation Underway

At approximately 1:45 a.m. on January 1, 2021, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a homicide that occurred in a residence on the 2800 block of 15th Avenue in Prince George.

Frontline officers arrived on scene and discovered the deceased – a 50-year-old male. Officers secured the area and the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit was called in to lead the investigation.

This investigation is in the early stages and significant resources have been deployed. Police believe this was a targeted event. Investigators wish to speak to anyone that may have witnessed this incident or anyone that may have information.
