Two-vehicle collision on University Way

Just before 7:00 p.m. on Monday December 28, 2020, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on University Way.

Frontline officers and other emergency services attended the area and found a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and an SUV near the University of Northern B.C. on University Way in Prince George. BC Ambulance Service transported three people to University Hospital of Northern B.C. for injuries sustained during the collision.

The driver of the SUV did not sustain serious injuries. Police transported the 29-year-old male to the Detachment and later released him on an Appearance Notice for court on March 31, 2021, pending charge assessment from the B.C. Prosecution Service. Police believe alcohol was a factor in this incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
