Police renew request for public's help in missing person investigation

The Prince George RCMP are renewing a request to the public for information on the whereabouts of 32-year-old Barry Blain Seymour who has been missing for nearly three weeks.

Barry was reported missing to the Prince George RCMP on May 26, 2012, after the Fort Ware resident had not been seen in a few days. He came to Prince George with family members to attend his son’s birthday and opted to stay in the City for a few more days.
The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Section has taken over the investigation. Officers have followed up on a number of leads and conducted many interviews. There is no evidence to indicate that Barry has been the victim of foul play. Police have been able to confirm the last reported sighting of Barry was on the evening of Wednesday May 23, but have not been able to verify any other possible sightings to date.
Barry Blain Seymour is described as:
- Indigenous male
- 170 cm (5’7)
- 79 kg (174 lbs)
- Black hair
- Brown eyes

You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers. If you provide information that leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
