
Keen eyed neighbour helps net two suspects in alleged break and enter

Shortly after 6:30 a.m. on March 8, 2022, frontline Richmond RCMP officers responded to a residential break and enter in the 8000 block of Heather Street. The owner contacted police after reportedly hearing intruders in the home.
The suspects had fled prior to police arrival but were located quickly nearby in a U-Haul truck. Both suspects were swiftly arrested without incident and evidentiary items recovered including break in tools.
This homeowner recognized something unusual was going on, and contacted 911 immediately. Coupled with the quick, decisive and coordinated efforts by our frontline officers, the two suspects were located and arrested,
says Corporal Dennis Hwang, Media Relations officer for the Richmond RCMP, We want to reiterate to the community that the reduction of property crime and arresting those responsible for it is a top priority for us.
The Prosecution Service of BC has approved the following charges against Whindyll Villalon JORDAN (male), 31, and Hoang Huu VUU (male), 34. Both men are from Richmond and each is charged with 1 count of break and enter contrary to Sec. 348(1)(b) C.C.
